Exosome Concepts

These are a few test renderings I did for Dr. Steve Griffiths who is doing research at the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute. I've worked with Steve on several projects over the past few years and it is always my pleasure to help him out when I can. This has actually sparked my interested in rendering these types of structures (be they real, or imagined) for the sake of my own artistic musings. We'll see, time permitting of course.

Adora

This is a portrait that was commissioned by Hanan Levin for his art project based on his daughter Adora. I'm glad I could contribute something unique. Here is the project site, and the post featuring my contribution can be found here.

Peach's Castle

Disclaimer: I have no affilation with Nintendo and this should only be considered a piece of fan art.

As if you couldn't tell...this is a rendering of Princess Peach's Castle from SUPER MARIO 64.

I wanted to make something video game related, and started thinking about some of my favorite games. Of course, SUPER MARIO 64 immediately came to mind.

Style wise, I really wanted to keep that Nintendo cartoony feel while using higher resolution textures and realistic lighting. It's not 100% true to the game (I've added some minor details, and removed others), but I tried to keep it close while still being visually interesting. I'm pretty happy with the result, and hopefully this will bring back some good memories for other Nintendo fans as well.
